Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Diskograf account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If we discover that an account belongs to someone under 18, we may suspend or remove it.Account Types
When you register, you identify as either a fan or an artist. Fan accounts are for listeners, researchers, and contributors who engage with the music database as members of the community. Artist accounts are for musicians and creators who want to be represented in the database under their own name. As an artist, you may either claim an existing profile that already represents you in the Diskograf database, or create a new artist profile if one does not yet exist.Artist Identity and Impersonation
Diskograf’s integrity depends on accurate attribution. If you claim an artist profile, that claim must represent your genuine identity — you may only claim profiles that are truly yours. Impersonation is strictly prohibited. Falsely claiming to be another artist or creating a profile to misrepresent someone else’s identity may constitute a criminal offence under Malaysian law, in addition to violating these Terms. Diskograf reserves the right to investigate any artist identity claim. Where we determine that a claim is false or misleading, we may reject the claim, reverse an approved claim, suspend the account, ban the account, or permanently remove it from the platform. These actions may be taken without prior notice where we believe the integrity of the database or another person’s rights are at risk. To report suspected impersonation, contact us at diskografcom@gmail.com.Termination
Diskograf may terminate or suspend your access to the service immediately and without notice if you breach any part of these Terms. This includes, but is not limited to, making false artist identity claims, engaging in impersonation, or any conduct that harms other users or the platform. Upon termination, your right to use Diskograf ceases immediately.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Diskograf’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the service is capped at the greater of the total amount you have paid through the service or USD 100. Diskograf is not liable for any special, incidental, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages — including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.Disclaimer
